"A couple of weeks ago I was touring the Northwest with my wife on our FLHCUSE5. We were on some very bumpy roads in Oregon. My tour pack was loaded and my wife's overstuffed T-Bag was strapped on top of the tour pack.The bumps and the overload caused the whole bottom of the tour pack to break so the tour pack was flopping up and down, secured only at the front. I was afraid that our trip was about to be terminated or severely curtailed and had no idea what to do. I pulled into Yakima about 4 pm on Tuesday, July 16th, to stay at the Best Western and noticed Owen's Harley Davidson just across the street. I took the bike over and asked for help. Brad came out and looked at it, said he'd get me back on the road, then put the bike on his lift. Within a half hour he had it braced and fully serviceable. It's been two weeks now and Brad's improvised fix is holding up fine and I expect it will until I get back home to Florida in October when I'll get a new tour pack. I just want to say thanks so very much to Brad and all the fine folks at Owens. You guys are great."

"Just a note to let everyone know about the service dept.Recently I made an appointment for some work to be done on my bike.However when I took my bike down at what I thought was the right date ,they had no record of me making the appointment. "I test rode a Road Glide with my wife, and it was the most uncomfortable ride ever. I went back told Sam & Duane that my wife was not happy with the ride. They explained to me that with a sissybar the ride would be much better. Duane said "tell you what, I own the same model & year and I have a sissybar so take your wife out on my bike". Who does that? Right then and there I knew if I bought a Harley it would be from Owens. I live alot closer to another dealership, but everyone at Owens makes me feel like part of the family. I will be a VERY loyal customer."

"Last Saturday my 2002 Road King broke down in Prosser ,WA the shifter lever and the shifter rod gear splines were stripped and I could not change gears. I called in to your service department at about 1:30 and talked to your service manager Paul Thompson he told me to come on in and he would get me fixed up. I limped into the service department and Paul took my bike put it on a lift and told me what parts I needed and started taking my bike apart. I got the parts from the parts department and Paul had the repairs done in about 40 minutes even though he was still dealing with other service customers. All in all we were out the door in less than one hour and back on the road. Paul was great and provided excellent service it was a good experience even for my wife who was afraid we were not going to make home. "Just need to give Paul Thompson the Owens Harley a Shout Out. Myself and a riding partner travelling from Plymouth Ma to Mount St Helens and beyond had the check engine light flashing on a 2003 Softail as we were crossing Idaho into Washington. We stopped in Yakima specifically to get the bike looked at. Paul brought the bike right into the service area, pulled the seat off and plugged into the computer boot. Found a Historical fault caused by a loose battery terminal, he corrected everything, cleared the fault and off we went. Never had another issue with the bike. As travelling motorcyclists, (we logged over 8500 miles) it was an awesome experience to know that this kind of service is available. "During our annual motorcycle trip we struck a 12" concrete block on I-90 bending the wheel and causing a flat tire. This not only happened to my bike but also one of my riding partners. The techs at Owen Cycle, dispite not having any wheels in stock, were able to find two front wheels, repair our bikes and get us on the road again the next morning. Thanks guys, the rest of our trip was great, 8004 miles in the month of August."

"I was riding home (California) from Canada when the front cylinder of my Harley started misfiring just north of Yakima. Not a great feeling. When I got to the service department they took my bike right in and diagnosed the problem within an hour ( burned valve - major bummer ). Although the news was bad I couldn't have been treated any better by all of the service people. They all went out of their way to help me get back on the road and had new heads installed by the next day !"

"Well we bought our 09 ElectraGlide Classic last year. I must say it was my first Harley. I was so impressed with the attitudes of the staff, Don was very helpful giuiding us through the purchase. We were introduced to almost everyone in the store and they made you feel like they truly wanted my business. In the 1 year we have owend the bike we have had very few problems with the bike and when I did have a problem the guys in service took care of it without any hassles. They get me in and out for service quickly and that helps when I ride it up from the Tri Cities. Right now we have no dealer in kennewick, but even when we get another one I can't imagine going anywhere else for service or the purchase of a new bike other than Owens. It is truly worth the 70 mile ride to be treated like family. Thanks to all the Stafff at Owens...."

"I drove up to Yakima from the tri-cities to take a look at the 2010 bikes, our local dealer is shut down, and was met at the door with a cheerful "Hello, How are you?" It mad my morning! This was a stop on the way to Seattle for a recheck on an injury I recieved in a motorcycle accident last spring, which totalled my 2005 Wide glide! The sales staff was so Helpfull and friendly I felt at home! Thanks Don, Ray and Duane! I puchased a new Street Glide, Which I have been looking at online for a couple months! "My husband and I have purchased many bikes and bike parts from Owens throughout the years. We have taken our bikes in for all types of services for many years. We have always had excellent customer service from all departments and enjoy just going into the store to be greeted by smiling faces and are always anxious to see the new bike parts and bikes. Then in 2009, I was rear ended while on my bike in my first and only accident. We had our vacation planned for the yr on our bikes and were concerned we would not be able to take the trips now that the bike needed parts and repairs. "3 years ago I wasn't even riding but wanted to with a passion with the incouragement from Duane I got up the nerve to get on a bike and try. That day I purchased a 250 Suzuki and in 3 months I went to Duane about getting a Harley Davidson. Duane was magnificent and I bought my 883 sporster that day. Although I loved my sporster the 2010 Street Glide Trike won my heart the minute I saw it in the show room. After a month of longing for it I went to Duane to see what I could do. I now have that Trike and can see many miles and great fun on it. The staff is the friendliest and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Owens to everyone I know. "Two friends and I on vacation Taking a ride down the Washington Coast, And up the Columbia River to Idaho. At Hood River my 02 Fat Boy Developed an Vacuum leak. We headed north to Chinook Pass to return to Port Orchard and the only Mechanic I allow to work on my Harleys. I have had problems with every HD shop in my area. Mostly inexperienced Techs. We stopped for the night in Union Gap. the bike was running so bad I told my friends to go on without me while I stopped at Owens. I figured it would be at least a day before they would work on the bike.To my amazement and their credit Bryan had Steve look at it right then. They told me it would be ready in about two hours. We went across the street and had breakfast and by the time we got back the bike was ready. I was amazed to say the least. Owens is by far the most pleasant and professional Dealership I have been in. I want to thank Bryan Burke and Steve, because of them I got to continue my vacation without a hitch. Thanks! "

"My brothers were coming over from WI for a ride to the redwoods. I met them in Missoula and thought they should get of the interstate and experience Lolo Pass, and unfortunately some road construction. At our first road closure stop one of the bikes failed to start, the battery was low, and we had to push start it. The remainder of our ride to Kennewick involved swapping batteries between bikes and push starting one of the bikes. The following morning we called the local shop and we were told we were looking at weeks for parts and repair. We called Owens and we were told they had the part we suspected had failed on hand. We were also told that if we got it in they would see if they could get us back on the road. When we got in we were met by Bryan in the service department and he moved us in directly. They assessed the problem and determined that it was not only the stator, but the rotor went out as well, but they had the parts. We killed time in Yakima and at 3:30 that afternoon we received a call telling us we could continue to CA, with no need to push start. The service techs explained the issue, offered the damaged parts, and wished us well on our trip. I have found a new place to bring my bike for service. Great group of guys, excellent service! Keep up the good work."

" I was on holidays with my wife driving my 2008 Ultra Classic though the Western USA when I was filling up with gas , I noticed that one of my front wheel bearing was shot. About half of the ball bearings were missing ! This was only on day 2 of our planned 14 day trip. We spent the night in Yakima and the next morning we went directly over the street to Owen's Cycle where Bryan Burke at the service department got the bike in right away. They were lucky enough to have a bearing in stock and got me fixed up and on our way shortly after lunch. I was very pleased how they got me in so soon and got us going ! We pulled out our HOG atlas and located the nearest dealer, who'll remain nameless (located in Wenatchee). When we got there we were told it would be hours before they could do anything to help us. This time I pulled out the HOG atlas, located Owens Cycle, in Yakima, WA and gave them a call. I didn't want to experience the same disappointment of traveling there for no reason. Well, that was not the case! We spoke to Bryan, in the service department, and he said, "no problem, whatever time you get here, we will get you right in." And they did! What a pleasant experience, we were on our way in no time feeling very confident about the work that was done. Bryan even went out of his way to help us locate where we were headed for the night. Our friends booked the hotel, but we sent them on ahead of us, not realizing that we didn't have the address programmed into the GPS, and we couldn't get them on the cell. Bryan took the time to search on the internet and make a phone call. He really went out of his way for us. And we really appreciated it, thank you Bryan!"

"this was a very big purchase for my wife and i-an 09 ultra classic-. and everyone was very friendly and helpful.i was back in the store just about every day for a week after i bought the bike and the staff was just as friendly and helpful as the first day.it was probably one of the easiest purchases ive ever had. marvin was great at explaining how things worked on the bike and showing me around and introducing me to everybody,ray helped with the financing and was real strait forward with the numbers,duane helped with explaining how things worked.i wanted a parts catalog but they were out of them so duane gave me his from his desk.candice was very helpful with some addons.when i wear this one out i will definitly go back to owens.thank you"

"I was on the first leg of a road trip from La Conner, WA to Rochester, NY. The long way visiting people in Lake Tahoe, then to Mesa, AZ. then heading East through NM, TX, OK, MO, IL, IN, MI, OH, PA, then NY. OK you get the point. I had a long way to go when I droped my bike on its side leaving a gas station in Yakima. I won't mention the sucky weather going on. I thought I heard a noise that was not there before the drop. I came to your store first thing in the morning the next day. The person at the counter was filling in for someone and I believe his name is Kyle. Hard for me to come clean on my on my set back I told kyle I droped my bike and thought I heard a noise. No problem he would get me right in and have someone check out my bike so I could get on my way. I beleive the tech was Paul Thompson. Got me in, checked my bike and rear wheel to be specific where the noise was comming from. It checked out fine. My belt drive had accumulated lots of dirt and grit from the crappy weather and that was addressed and I was ready to go. Bottom line: I have never been more impressed with any Harley Dealerships Customer service than what I received from Owens HD. Please tell Paul and Kyle that Im emailing this from Rochester, NY and even though my problem was minor there service was something I appreciated and will remember. I've been to many HD dealerships over the years and the miles. You guys are the best. DT"

"The entire staff is just so very helpful and supportive. My husband and I come in to the dealership fairly regularly and usually just look around. window shopping and dreaming.Rarely buying. Every time we come in we are treated like everyone is truly happy to see us. So when the time came to purchase new motorcycles, it was no question we would buy them locally. I had researched online the specs and knew what I was looking for and the whole process was so much fun. Not that scary am I making a mistake feeling you get sometimes. The entire staff seemed truly as excited as myself. Duane was totally hands on the entire process, making sure all my concerns were addressed. Taking me back to the service to have adjustments made to the handlebars. Ray jumped right on it as if it was no problem at all. making sure I was comfortable. Encouraging me to ride it again to be sure. Then over to the parts dept. where Duane introduced me to Candace, who gave me a card with her phone numbers(even her cell #) told me the days she worked, but to not hesitate to call on her day off if I needed to and she would be happy to meet me at the dealership to help me. WOW!! It has been my experience to find customer service lacking, (I have been told I have unrealistic expectations) But I must say that customer service is AWESOME At Owens. I encourage anyone who is thinking about purchasing a bike or ATV or snowmobile to go see these guys and gals and they won't be disappointed. I look forward to getting new pipes installed this spring, and I know I'll be treated right. Thanks to you all!! "

"What a great experience. I'm always nervouse about a big purchase, especially when you have to go in the back office to sign all the papers. The Finance guy, Ray was the funniest and most professional person I have ever met. It was a little noisy in the office with someone else on the phone and people walking in and out freely, but Ray made it fun. Candace in parts is sweet.
